A LOOK AT THE BLUE HOSE
Presbyterian was picked fourth in the Big South's annual preseason poll after returning five letterwinners from last year's squad and taking in four newcomers to the roster. Last spring, the Blue Hose won 46.3 percent of their total singles matches and 58.6 of their doubles matches. Junior Claudia Sanchez led the team in singles with a 13-6 record including a 4-1 tally against league opponents. McKenzie Davis was not far behind with an 11-9 mark. Sanchez teamed up with Valentina De Sousa in a majority of doubles matches last season where they earned an 8-4 record with a 3-2 mark in conference play. Sanchez, Davis, and De Sousa will all be competing this spring.
