CLINTON, S.C. – Senior
Paige Kindseth posted a double-double on senior day, the Presbyterian Blue Hose (5-20, Big South: 3-9) battled the Longwood Lancers (17-9, Big South: 8-4) down to the end before coming up short in a 71-60 setback at the Templeton Center on Saturday afternoon.

Before the game, the Blue Hose honored seniors Kindseth and
Sonia Sato and junior
Natalie Herrin, who is graduating from PC this spring.

HOW IT HAPPENED
First Quarter – Presbyterian behind baskets from Kindseth, and Herrin and a free throw from Sato jumped out to an early 5-0 advantage. Longwood cut PC's lead to two points 7-5 with 4:32 on the clock. A three from
Kishyah Anderson gave the Blue Hose a 10-5 lead. Longwood scored nine of the final 11 points of the quarter taking a 14-12 lead after one. Â

Second Quarter – Presbyterian scored six of the first nine points of the quarter taking an 18-17 lead with 7:25 left in the quarter after a pullup jumper from Anderson. The Blue Hose pushed their lead to 22-19 after two free throws from Kindseth. With 3:23 on the clock, a three from the wing by
Shelby Fiddler the Blue Hose enjoyed a 27-23 lead. Longwood finished the quarter on an 8-2 run taking a 31-29 halftime lead.

Third Quarter – Presbyterian's Kindseth tied the score at 31 with a layup 18 seconds into the quarter. Longwood scored six straight points regaining the lead. Presbyterian scored eight of the next 10 points knotting the score at 39 after a pullup jumper from Fiddler with 3:12 on the clock. Then, Longwood scored moving back in front. Presbyterian tied the score at 44 after a three from the wing by Fiddler with two minutes on the clock. The Lancers scored the final six points of the quarter taking a 50-44 lead.

Fourth Quarter – Presbyterian started the quarter scoring five of the first seven points cutting Longwood's lead to 52-49 after a jumpshot from Fiddler with 7:47 on the mark. The Lancers scored five unanswered points pushing their lead to eight points. Consecutive baskets from
Laney Scoggins and Kindseth got the Blue Hose back within four points, 57-53. However, that would be as close as the Blue Hose would get to Longwood the rest of the game. Â

- With 11 rebounds, Kindseth went over the 500 rebounds mark for her career.
- Kindseth's double-double (19 pts., 11 rebs.) was her sixth of the season.
- Fiddler's 15 points marked her 11th double-figure scoring game of the season.
