CLINTON, S.C. – The Presbyterian College baseball team (3-3) was unable to pick up the win against the Bowling Green Falcons (4-1) on Saturday, despite extra base hits from
Mikah Conner,
Ryan Ouzts, and
Eli Lazio.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Bowling Green quickly took control, jumping to a 5-0 lead in the top of the first inning.
- In response,
Trey Fenderson drove in an RBI in the bottom of the first, sending
Mikah Conner across the plate.
- The Falcons added another run in the second inning, but the Blue Hose fought back with two runs over the next two frames.
Brody Linker contributed with an RBI double in the fourth, followed by Fenderson's RBI single in the fifth.
- Over the following three innings, Bowling Green extended their lead with five more runs, while the Blue Hose were held scoreless, making it 11-3 by the top of the eighth.
- In the bottom of the eighth,
Ryan Ouzts delivered a deep double to right field.
Eli Lazio followed with a base hit, advancing Ouzts to third. A passed ball then allowed Ouzts to score, bringing the score to 11-4, where it would remain after a scoreless ninth inning.

Eli Lazio had a standout performance, going 4-for-4 at the plate, with his second double of the season. His .588 batting average now ranks second in the Big South.
