CLINTON, S.C. – Powered by extra-base hits from
Brody Linker,
Jake Randolph,
Cam Mallo,
Matthew Rollison, and
Evan Cuervo, the Presbyterian College baseball team (4-3) cruised past Le Moyne (0-7) with a commanding 12-1 win on Sunday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- After a scoreless first inning, Presbyterian struck first in the bottom of the second when Linker ripped a two-RBI triple to put the Blue Hose on the board.

Jackson Hugus followed with a sacrifice fly to bring Linker home, and Randolph added an RBI single to extend the lead to 4-0.
- Presbyterian continued to pour it on in the third. Rollison led off with a double down the left-field line, followed by Cuervo's RBI double to score him.
- Linker reached base for the second time today before stealing second base, setting up Albertus to drive him in and stretch the lead to 7-0.
- The fourth and fifth innings remained scoreless before PC broke through again in the sixth.
Eli Lazio led off with a single, and Randolph followed with an RBI double to left-center. A Dolphins error allowed another run to cross before Cuervo added an RBI single, pushing the advantage to 10-0.
- Le Moyne managed to plate a run in the top of the seventh, but PC answered in the eighth with RBI singles from Rollison and
Rhogue Wallace to seal the 12-1 victory.

- Cuervo recorded his first extra-base hit of the year in the third inning with a double down the left-field line.
- Randolph notched his first extra-base hit of the season with a double in the sixth.

Robbie Boykin earned his first win of the season, throwing 5.0 shutout innings with three punches while allowing just three hits.
