Eli Lazio, the Presbyterian College baseball team (4-4) came up short in a hard-fought road battle against The Citadel Bulldogs (4-4) on Tuesday night, falling 4-2.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Citadel struck first with a run in the bottom of the first inning, but Presbyterian responded in the top of the second. Base hits from
Brody Linker and
Matthew Rollison helped the Blue Hose take a 2-1 lead.
- After a scoreless third, The Citadel pulled ahead with single runs in both the fourth and fifth innings, making it 3-2.
- A quiet sixth inning led to the seventh, where the Bulldogs tacked on another run to extend their lead to 4-2.
- Lazio doubled in the ninth to give PC a late spark, but The Citadel held on for the win.
