CLINTON, S.C. – The Presbyterian College women's tennis team (3-10) battled to the end in a close match against the Davidson Wildcats (6-2).

DOUBLES
Davidson won the first doubles game at the number one position before PC's
McKenzie Davis and
Mary Ellen Longmire evened it out with a win over the Wildcat's Charlotte Calderwood and Ellie Hammond 6-3 in the number three position. The opponents grabbed the win at the number two spot, securing the doubles point.

SINGLES
Davis was the first to finish her singles game at the number two position, defeating Davidson's Savanna Kollock 6-3, 6-3.
Madison Dennett followed up with a 6-2, 6-3 win over the Wildcat's Ellie Hammond at the number four slot, giving Presbyterian a 2-1 lead. Singles games on courts five, three, and one all landed in Davison's favor, allowing them to secure the win. Longmire closed out the match with a victory at the number six position, as she took down the Wildcat's Olivia Hooper 7-5, 6-3.
