#6 PC Celebrates Senior Day by Incinerating E&H, 50-0

CLINTON, S.C. – On a night where the Presbyterian College women's wrestling team achieved their 30th dual victory over the last three seasons, the sixth-ranked Blue Hose pancaked their opponents from Emory & Henry on Saturday evening 50-0.

The first five matches inside Templeton Gym were all forfeits, while the next five were all decided with a swift pin. PC's longest win of the meet lasted a mere two minutes and 27 seconds.

Head coach Brian Vutianitis' squad hardly broke a sweat en route to win number 14 this year, closing the regular season with an absurd 146 victories by fall. This includes their elite tournament performances in 2025, where they earned 25 first-place titles.

Chiara Barbieri, Ella Beam, Samantha Hauff, and Olivia Waller were all recognized in a pre-match ceremony on Saturday, key contributors to a program that has never exited the NWCA top 10 at any point this season.

Beam and rookie Carina Giangeruso's pins took a combined 65 seconds as Presby posted a perfect overall score. The maximum number for a team to hit in a standard dual is 50 points, precisely the figure that Coach V's gang ended on.

- Presbyterian raced to another wildly-successful season and punctuated the campaign nicely over the weekend, sending the team to the Southeast Regional tournament later this month on a large wave of momentum.

- The postseason rears its head on February 22, hosted by Emmanuel University in Georgia. Those that place inside the top four of their respective weight class will automatically advance to the National Championships in Coralville, Iowa, a feat that seven PC wrestlers hit last year.
