Sixteen Blue Hose Wrestlers Named NWCA Scholar All-America

MANHEIM, Pa. – Less than a week after the Presbyterian College women's wrestling program achieved its highest-ever National Championship Tournament finish by claiming sixth-place, another school record was snared on Thursday afternoon with 16 PC student-athletes on the NWCA Scholar All-America list.

WWR Scholar All-America

PC's 16 Scholar All-Americans are the second-most of any institution in America, trailing only North Central's 22. The Blue Hose captured the Southeast Regional Championship last month for the first time, while head coach Brian Vutianitis was labeled the Region Coach of the Year.

Presbyterian has finished inside the National top ten in each of the last three seasons, rising up the ladder every spring to sixth-place in 2025. Six competitors came in the top eight for their respective weight class, highlighted by Giangeruso who placed 4th.
