Box Score BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. – The Presbyterian College women's tennis team (4-14, Big South: 0-1) was unable to pick up the win against the Gardner-Webb Runnin' Bulldogs (5-6, Big South: 2-0) in their first league match of the season, falling 7-0 on Monday afternoon.
 
DOUBLES
Presbyterian's Claudia Sanchez and Valentina De Sousa began doubles play on a high note, taking down Gardner-Webb's Emilia Roslund and Arili Boshoff 6-2 at the number one position 6-2. The Runnin' Bulldogs went on to take wins on courts two and three, securing themselves the doubles point.
 
SINGLES
Despite valiant efforts from De Sousa at the number three singles slot and Mary Ellen Longmire at the number six position, Gardner-Webb was able to grab wins on all six singles courts, securing the sweep over the Blue Hose.

The Blue Hose continue their conference slate with a trip to Farmville, Virginia for a battle with Longwood on Friday, March 28 with a first serve scheduled for 9:00 a.m.
