Kobe Stewart,
Kaleb Scott, and
Kory Mincy scored in double-figures, but the Presbyterian Blue Hose (14-18) saw their season end with a hard-fought 74-69 overtime loss to the Radford Highlanders (20-12) in the quarterfinals of the Big South Tournament.

Stewart scored 17 of his game-high 22 points in the second half and overtime. Scott scored 14 points and grabbed nine rebounds. Mincy scored 13 points and dished out eight assists.

Presbyterian scored 36 points in the paint and 20 fastbreak points.

HOW IT HAPPENED
FIRST HALF – Stewart scored Presbyterian's first points with a three from the wing. Presbyterian scored five of the first eight points of the game. Radford connected on a three from the top of the key, taking the first half lead for good at the 16:40 mark. After a three from
Iverson King from the top of the key, Presbyterian trailed Radford, 15-10, with 10 minutes left in the half. Radford scored 17 of the next 22 points, taking a 27-15 lead. A jumper in the lane from Scott got the Blue Hose within eight, 31-23, with 2:18 on the clock. The Highlanders scored the final six points of the half, taking a 37-23 halftime lead.

SECOND HALF – Presbyterian began the half on a 12-2 run, cutting Radford's lead to 39-35 after two free throws from Stewart. Mincy, Scott, and
Iverson King also scored during Presbyterian's scoring run. With Radford leading 43-37, Stewart connected on two straight threes, and a three from
Jamahri Harvey pushed the Blue Hose in front, 46-43 with 14 minutes on the clock. Radford scored four straight points to regain the lead. The lead would exchange hands a few times with several ties until, with seven minutes on the clock, Radford took a 58-57 which they would push to a 62-57 lead with four and a half minutes left in the game. With 1:08 left in regulation, Radford led 65-61. Stewart scored four points on fast break layups over the final one plus minutes of action, sending the game to overtime tied at 65.

OVERTIME – Stewart scored the overtime period's first two points, putting Presbyterian in front. Radford converted on a three-point play, regaining the lead. Mincy connected a tough contested jumper in the lane, putting the Blue Hose in front by one point, 69-68. Then, Radford scored the game's final six points to defeat the Blue Hose, 74-69. Â

- Stewart's 22 points marked his seventh 20-point scoring game of the season and the eighth of his career.
- Scott's 14 points gave him eight double-figure scoring games this season and 17 in his Presbyterian career.
- With 13 points, Mincy collected his 27th double-figure scoring game of the season and the 33rd of his career.
