CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Presbyterian College women's tennis team secured the doubles point for the second consecutive match, but Charleston Southern (15-4, 5-0 Big South) responded with a strong showing in singles to claim a 6-1 victory on Wednesday afternoon at the Gary Clark Banks Sr. Tennis Center.

DOUBLES
The Blue Hose opened the match by capturing wins at the number two and number three doubles slots.
Madison Dennett and
Elle Sceney earned a 6-2 victory at the number three position over Charleston Southern's Emmie Moore and Brenda Yoris. Moments later,
McKenzie Davis and
Mary Ellen Longmire clinched the doubles point with a 7-5 win at the number two position against CSU's Kassandra Di Staulo and Marina Skegro.

SINGLES
Charleston Southern swept all six singles courts in straight sets.
Claudia Sanchez and
McKenzie Davis each pushed their opponents deep into both sets at the top of the lineup, while
Madison Dennett battled into a second-set tiebreak on court four but came up just short.
