BREVARD, N.C.  –  Presbyterian Blue Hose cross country runners, freshman Jude Rutherford and senior Isabel Whitman, both finished in 15th place in their respective races at the Brevard XC Classic on Friday afternoon. Rutherford paced the men's team with a time of 28:05.20 in the 8K, and Whitman led the women's team with a time of 19:49.3 in the 5K.

The men's team finished fifth out of 15 teams. The women's team finished seventh out of 14 teams.

Rounding out the men's runners were Noah Kaufman (28:24.91), Sam Gearheart (28:31.76), Jacob Smith (29:26.04), David Harner (29:33.51), Henry Hunt (29:40.66), Robert Volk (31:53.77), Samuel Wall (32:36.90), Eason Bazemore (33:35.54), and Nizeyimana Aristide (35:47.00).

The rest of the Blue Hose women's runners were Katie Stevenson (20:42.3), Abby Donaldson (20:57.7), Alexis Yeung (22:00.4), Eliana Watson (22:09.5), Savannah Watson (23:41.8), and Sarah Danbury (24:49.2).
