ASHEVILLE, N.C. - The Presbyterian College cross-country teams began their spring track season with 16 runners competing in the Tryon Mid-Winter Invite. Jude Rutherford, Abby Donaldson, and Lillian Anderson broke school records.

Notables

• Rutherford shattered the school's mile record by over 15 seconds, running a school-record time of 4:21, finishing tenth in a field of 64 runners.
• Anderson (5:36.07) and Donaldson (5:36.91) broke the program's indoor mile record.
• David Harner ran a personal record time of 9:27 to move into the program's top three all-time in the 3000 meters.
• Jacob Smith (9:43) and Sam Gearheart (9:48) ran the fourth and fifth fastest times in the program's history in the 3000 meters.
• Demond Alvin, Gage Walker, Rutherford, Harner, Smith, Gearheart, Donaldson, and Anderson set PRs in their respective races.
