JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Presbyterian College volleyball team (1-4) continued play at the UNF Invitational on Saturday afternoon with a four-set loss to Howard (2-2) inside UNF Arena. The Bison claimed the match by scores of 26-24, 25-19, 24-26, 25-15.

Ashley Miller led the Blue Hose's offense with a team-best 13 kills, while sophomore libero
Aubrie Arnold and junior setter
Anisa Dorlouis anchored the back row with 13 digs apiece. Dorlouis also directed the offense with 39 assists, recording her fourth double-double of the season. PC also tallied a season-high of 13.0 team blocks, led by junior opposite
Courtney Williams with eight block assists.

Set One – PC 24, Howard 26
The opening frame was tight throughout with seven ties and two lead changes. The Blue Hose built a 20-16 lead behind strong attacking by Miller, Williams, and
Julia Yurkovich, but Howard responded with a late run to even the score at 24. The Bison closed out the set on consecutive kills to take the 1-0 match lead.

Set Two – PC 19, Howard 25
Howard seized control early led by three kills from senior outside hitter Rya McKinnon. PC pulled within five at 23-18 while hitting at an impressive .333 rate throughout the second set, but the Bison held steady to secure a 2-0 advantage.

Set Three – PC 26, Howard 24
The Blue Hose battled back in the third, overcoming a 21-17 deficit. Strong defense at the net from Williams and
Elyse Hutchinson helped fuel the rally, and Miller's late serving run knotted the score at 24. Back-to-back kills from Yurkovich sealed the extra-point victory, cutting the deficit to 2-1.

Set Four – PC 15, Howard 25
Although PC took the first four points of the set, Howard used an 11-point mid-set surge to put the match away, hitting .273 as a team in the closing frame. PC managed 10 kills, but the Bison's blocking and steady attack carried them to the finish.
