CLINTON, S.C. – Four Blue Hose scored in double-figures with two double-doubles in Presbyterian's (11-13, Big South: 4-5), 93-84, double overtime loss to the Radford Highlanders (13-11, Big South: 6-3) in the Templeton Center on Saturday afternoon.
Jonah Pierce recorded another double-double with 28 points and 17 rebounds.
Triston Wilson scored 19 points and dished out a career-high 11 assists.
Jaylen Peterson scored 18 points and grabbed eight rebounds.
Carl Parrish rounded out PC's double-figure scorers with 11 points.
Presbyterian finished the game with a 56-30 advantage in points in the paint.
HOW IT HAPPENED
FIRST HALF – Pierce scored the game's first two points with a hook shot in the paint 46 seconds into the game. With Radford leading 5-4 three minutes into the game, the Blue Hose moved in front, 8-5, after a basket from Pierce and two free throws from
Khalon Hudson. Radford scored six of the next eight points, taking an 11-10 lead. Radford pushed their lead to eight points, 20-12, at the 9:50 mark of the game. The Blue Hose went on a 10-2 scoring run, tying the score at 22 after two free throws from Wilson with 6:43 on the clock. Pierce and Peterson also scored during the run. Radford regained the lead, with four minutes left in the half, and Radford held a 29-26 lead. The Blue Hose finished the half on a 10-4 scoring run, taking a 36-33 halftime lead. Parrish knocked down two threes in the final couple of minutes, which gave the Blue Hose the halftime lead.
SECOND HALF – Back-to-back baskets from Pierce to start the second half gave the Blue Hose an early 40-33 second-half lead. Presbyterian maintained its lead until, with 11:23 on the clock, Radford regained the lead 54-53. Behind four points from Peterson and a layup from Hudson, Presbyterian regained the lead 59-54 with nine minutes on the clock. Radford would eventually regain the lead, 70-68, with 4:19 on the clock. The two teams exchanged the lead a couple of times. After Radford took a 75-73 lead, Parrish would send the game into the first overtime, converting on two free throws with 33 seconds on the clock.
FIRST OVERTIME – The two teams exchanged the lead several times, with the lead not being larger than two points. With the game tied at 83, Presbyterian had the ball for the final shot, but the Blue Hose were not able to score, sending the game into a second overtime.
SECOND OVERTIME – Radford's Jaylon Johnson, who scored 23 points, connected on two early three-point baskets, giving the Highlanders the lead for good. Radford outscored the Blue Hose, 10-1, in the second overtime for the 93-84 win.

- The double overtime game was Presbyterian's first double overtime game since a Big South Conference Tournament game against Campbell, March 2, 2022.
- Pierce's double-double was his 13th of the season and the 16th of his career.
- Pierce's 17 rebounds nearly broke the school's DI era record of 18 rebounds.
- Wilson's 19 points and 11 assists marked his first career double-double. Wilson played all 50 minutes of the game.
- Peterson recorded four blocked shots for the second straight game. Peterson's 18 points marked his 11th double-figure scoring game of the season.
- Parrish's 11 points marked his 17th double-figure scoring game of the season.
- The Blue Hose scored a season-high tying 56 points in the paint.
