SPRINGFIELD, Mo.  – The Presbyterian Blue Hose (0-2) captured the Pyramid Event in their season-opening tri-meet at Missouri State. The Blue Hose posted a score of 243.695 while Missouri State (1-2) scored 245.130 and No. 5 Augustana (2-0) won the tri-meet with a score of 265.485.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Blue Hose scored 35.30 in the Compulsory Event. Presbyterian posted a high score of 9.55 in the Toss heat.
• Presbyterian recorded a score of 27.40 in the Acro Event with a high score of 9.50 in the 7-Element heat.
• In the Pyramid Event, Presbyterian posted a score of 29.25 outscoring Augustana, 29.20, and Missouri State, 26.45, with a high score of 9.85 in the Open Heat. PC tied the program's all-time high score of 9.70 in the Inversion Heat.
• In the Toss Event, the Blue Hose were awarded a score of 25.95 with a program record score of 8.85 in the Synchronized heat.
• In the Tumbling Event, Presbyterian scored 45.025 with a high of 8.075 in the Aerial Pass.
• Presbyterian posted a score of 80.77 in the Team Event.

• In the 7-Element Heat of the Acro Event, the team of Julia Petz, Anna Ruiz, Victoria Smith, Aisha Edmond, and Abby Gallicho collected a score of 9.50.
• In the Inversion Pyramid Heat, the Blue Hose team of Petz, Smith, Gallicho, Sofia Cipriani, Iveren Asom, Abigail Davidson, and Avery Michowski earned a program record-tying score of 9.70.
• In the Open Pyramid Heat, the team of Cipriani, Asom, Smith, Carson DeRoss, Alyssa O'Keefe, and Adyson Stancil posted a score of 9.85.
• In the Synchronized Toss Heat, the team of Petz, Ruiz, Michowski, Gallicho, Stancil, O'Keefe, Cipriani, Aisha Edmond, Addie Catledge, and Taylor Gooding set a program record with a score of 8.85.
