Eduardo Valentin collected a singles win, but the Presbyterian Blue Hose (2-3) lost to the UNCW Seahawks (1-2), 6-1, on the road.
DOUBLES
UNCW won the doubles point with wins on courts three and two. Presbyterian's doubles tandem of Valentin and
David Mamalat were leading their match, 5-4 (30-0), before the match was stopped since UNCW had clinched the doubles point.
SINGLES
UNCW posted wins on courts one, five, two, and three, taking a 5-0 lead. At number four singles, Valentin recorded a straight-set, 6-3, 6-3, win. Presbyterian's
Gabriel Godoy battled before falling in three hard-fought sets, 6-2, 4-6, 7-6, at number six singles.
