CONWAY, S.C. – The Presbyterian College women's tennis team (4-6) faced Coastal Carolina on the road on Saturday afternoon (Feb. 28), falling to the Chanticleers 7-0 at the Stevens Tennis Complex.
The Chanticleers picked up doubles wins on courts two and three to clinch the doubles point, taking an early 1-0 lead.
The Blue Hose battled in singles, getting to tiebreaks on courts two and three but were unable to break through. Coastal Carolina controlled the rest of the match, winning in straight sets on the top five courts in singles to take home the victory.
Only five Blue Hose players played in singles.
