CLINTON,  S.C. – The Presbyterian Blue Hose (5-3) captured the doubles point and swept the six singles matches to cruise to a 7-0 win over the Belmont Abbey Crusaders (8-9) at the Templeton Tennis Courts on Wednesday afternoon.

DOUBLES
For the fifth time this season, Presbyterian captured the doubles point with wins on courts one and three. At number one doubles, Presbyterian's
David Mamalat and
Matija Samardzic, who are ranked No. 56 in the ITA Doubles Rankings, cruised to their sixth win of the season with a 6-1 victory. Then, Belmont Abbey won on court two. At number three doubles, Presbyterian's
Daksh Prasad and
Gabriel Godoy clinched the doubles point for PC with a 7-5 win.

SINGLES
Presbyterian swept the six singles matches in the home win. At number one, Mamalat gave the Blue Hose a 2-0 lead with a 6-1, 6-2 victory for his fourth win of the season. Then, Samardzic tallied a 6-4, 6-2 win for his fourth win of the season. On court two, Prasad claimed his fifth win of the season in a 2-6, 6-1, 6-2 victory. At number four singles, Presbyterian
Eduardo Valentin posted a 3-6, 6-3, 6-2 victory for his fourth win of the season.
Victor Mayer picked up his second win of the season with a 2-6, 6-4, 6-2 victory on court six. Godoy closed out the singles sweep with a 4-6, 6-3, 1-0 (10-7) victory at number five singles.
