Presbyterian Rolls Over Davidson

CLINTON,  S.C. – The Presbyterian Blue Hose (6-3) won two doubles matches and three singles matches to cruise to a 4-0 win over the Davidson Wildcats (4-5), 4-0, at the Templeton Tennis Courts on Saturday afternoon.
 
With the win, the Blue Hose improved to 4-0 at home this season. Presbyterian has not lost a point at home this season.
 
DOUBLES
For the sixth time this season, the Blue Hose captured the doubles point. At number one doubles, Presbyterian's David Mamalat and Matija Samardzic, who are ranked No. 56 in the ITA Doubles Rankings, tallied a 6-1 win. Then, Daksh Prasad and Gabriel Godoy recorded a 7-6 (7-4) win on court three to clinch the doubles point for the Blue Hose.
 
SINGLES
Presbyterian won three singles matches to claim the overall victory. At number two singles, Presbyterian's Prasad gave the Blue Hose a 2-0 lead with a 6-4, 6-3 victory. At number three singles, Samardzic gave the Blue Hose a 3-0 lead with a 6-1, 6-4 victory. Dario Navarro clinched the overall victory for the Blue Hose with a 6-3, 6-2 win at number five singles.
