ATHENS, Ga. - The Presbyterian College baseball team (6-28, 2-7 Big South) dropped a midweek road clash at No. 4 Georgia on Tuesday afternoon (April 7), suffering a 28-3 defeat at Foley Field.

Bo Moody led the way for the Blue Hose, recording two of PC's three hits (including a double). Emory Guilford also posted a hit for Presbyterian, finishing 1-for-2 with a run scored.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Blue Hose got on the board first, opening the game with a run in the top of the first. After a James Green hit-by-pitch, Bo Moody doubled to right field, moving Green to third. Two batters later, Emory Guilford brought in Green with a sacrifice fly RBI.
- Georgia quickly answered in the bottom of the second, plating 14 runs on seven hits. The Bulldogs added to their lead in the third, scoring nine more runs.
- Georgia continued to extend its lead in the fourth and fifth, tallying five more runs.
- The Blue Hose got back on the board in the top of the sixth, plating two runs. Guilford came around to score on an error by the left fielder. Later in the inning, Cam Mallo walked with the bases loaded to bring in PC's second run of the frame.
- No other runs came across the board the rest of the afternoon, as the Bulldogs picked up the midweek victory in Athens.

- Bo Moody finished the day a perfect 2-for-2 at the plate with a double. He recorded his 10th double of the season.
- This is Moody's 14th multi-hit game of the year (leads the team). He also extended his on-base streak to 19 games.
- Emory Guilford logged a hit as well for PC, singling to left field in the sixth inning.
- Tristan McGregor made his eighth start of the season on the mound, throwing a scoreless first inning.
- Cole Morgan made his third pitching appearance of the season for PC. Morgan threw 1.2 innings in the contest, a new career-high.
- Landon Nichols made his second appearance of the year. He pitched a career-high two innings.
