Biography

2011: Ranked second among Blue Hose pitchers with 22 appearances, compiling a 2-0 record and one save in 24.2 innings… Boasted the second-best earned run average in the PC bullpen (4.38) and ranked second in strikeouts (13) among bullpen pitchers… Held opponents to a .263 batting average… Allowed zero hits over a six-game stretch that spanned 6.1 innings (3/1-3/30)… Picked up his first save against VCU on March 4… Struck out three in two and two-thirds innings against Radford (4/2)… Went on stretches of seven games and four games without a run allowed.

Prior to Presbyterian College: Hit .308 as a freshman at Spartanburg Methodist College, helping the Pioneers to 2009 Region X and Eastern District championships and fifth place at the NJCAA Division I World Series.

High School: Played at Lancaster High School, where he earned Most Valuable Player, All-Region III-4A and South Carolina Coaches Association North/South All-State honors… Helped Lancaster to an Upper State District II championship in 2007... Hit at least .327 in every year and accumulated a 6-2 record as a pitcher his senior year, maintaining a 2.02 ERA.
