High School: Holds the school rushing record with 4,459 yards…recorded 423 carries and 53 touchdowns and averaged 10.5 yards a carry during his high school career…rushed for 77 yards on three carries before being sidelined with an injury during the first game of his senior season…named 2012 NC Preps 4A All-State Running Back…earned Hickory Daily Record Offensive Player of the Year in 2012 and picked up Charlotte Observer All-Region that same season…named Northwest Conference 3A/4A Offensive Player of the Year in 2012, and earned All-Conference honors in 2011 and 2012…also participated in track and wrestling…placed on A/B Honor Roll through high school career…volunteers at local optimist club and helps at youth football camps…choose PC because it’s a small, private school and he loves the community
