2022: Saw action in all 28 matches for the Blue Hose as she made 16 starts throughout the 2022 season… played in 99 sets… collected 204 digs throughout the season as one of three players for PC with 200+ digs… had nine matches with 10+ digs… had season-high 14 digs against Asheville and Winthrop… added 13 digs against Georgia State… totaled 12 digs on the defensive end against JU… added 29 service aces… opened the season with four aces in first two matches against Louisiana Tech and Austin Peay… tallied 19 assists to add to her stat line… recorded six kills…

2021: Appeared in 22 contests with 10 starts totaling 75 sets for PC in 2021… collected 146 digs and 17 service aces for the year… had three matches with double-digit digs led by 14 at Hampton… she added 11 against Furman and Winthrop… had season-high three aces against Georgia State… added 12 assists to her stat line…  

Spring 2021: Appeared in 12 contests for the Blue Hose as a defensive specialist ... Collected 43 digs and six service aces for the season ... Notched the first service ace of her collegiate career and a pair of digs in her collegiate debut against High Point ... Served up a pair of aces against USC Upstate ... Totaled double-digit digs for the first time as a collegian, collecting a career-high 10, at Winthrop. 

2019: Redshirted.

High School: Four-year varsity starter at Rocky Mountain … Played outside hitter/right-side hitter/defensive specialist as a freshman before moving to defensive specialist/libero … Collected 804 digs, 141 assists, 115 aces and 24 kills in her final three seasons … Named to the SIC District 3 All-Star Team as a senior … Two-time SIC District 3 Honorable Mention … Team went 15-1 during the regular season during her sophomore year and won the District Tournament … Highest finish in the state tournament was fifth as a senior.

Club: Began playing club volleyball at age 11 … Played for five different clubs … Qualified for a USAV National Bid five times … Played with the Lonestar Volleyball Club in Dallas at age 18 … Earned a USAV National Bid with Idaho Crush Volleyball Club in Boise at 17 and with Boise Volleyball Club at 16 … Placed 10th at USAV Nationals with Idaho Crush at 15 … Played for Boise at age 13 and 14 … Earned a USAV National Bid with Idaho Stars Volleyball Club at 12 … Placed 13th at USAV Nationals with Tejas Volleyball Club from Dallas at 11.

Personal: Abigail ‘Abby’ Ann Sparkman was born in Dallas to Scott and Cat Sparkman … Her mother, Cat, played college softball for Southern Methodist … Served as an intern at her church over the summer as part of the creative team … Chose PC because of the family and community atmosphere that has a balance of athletics and academics.
