Biography

2025: Made 25 appearances on the mound including two starts… recorded a 4–6 record with two saves… posted an 8.94 ERA over 48.1 innings… allowed 60 hits, 48 earned runs, and 29 walks… struck out 30… threw 4.2 innings of relief in PC’s win over #23 Alabama, allowing just one hit, issuing no earned runs, and striking out two batters to seal the upset and earn Big South Relief Pitcher of the Week honors.

2024: Made 26 appearances mainly as a relief pitcher... started in four games... totaled 43 strikeouts over 42.0 innings... tallied multiple strikeouts in 12 games with a career-high five strikeouts against High Point on April 21... finished the year with a 2.79 ERA and three saves.

2023: Made 22 relief appearances… totaled 24 strikeouts over 28.2 innings… tallied a season-high four strikeouts in 2.1 innings at Wofford (April 11)… pitched a season-high 3.0 innings against Campbell (April 7) and ETSU (April 19)… totaled three strikeouts against Georgia State (Mar. 4), Davidson (Mar. 21) and USC Upstate (April 30)… pitched multiple innings in eight outings.

2022: Made seven relief appearances… tossed a scoreless inning with a strikeout against College of Charleston (Mar. 1)… added a strikeout in relief at Georgia State (Mar. 13)…

Before PC:  He was a member of the 2018 & 2019 3A State Champions at Bishop England High School… also played basketball during his time at Bishop England… was a member of the Diamond Devils club team… he was a standout at the Diamond Prospect Palmetto Games, earning the golden arm award for the southwest black team… Hollister is the 16th ranked RHP in SC on Prep Baseball Report…

Personal: Sean Hollister was born in East Greenwich, Rhode Island to Chet and Catherine Hollister… he chose to come to Presbyterian because it was close to home… he intends to major in business but is unsure of what specifically in the business field…
