Biography

2025: Appeared in 51 games with 49 starts… led the team in batting average (.374), hits (61), runs (36), doubles (16), total bases (85), walks (27), stolen bases (14), on-base percentage (.477), and sacrifice bunts (5)… ranked second on the team in slugging percentage (.521) and fourth in RBIs (24)… finished top-10 in the Big South in batting average, on-base percentage, doubles, and sacrifice bunts… had a five-hit game against UNC Asheville and recorded multiple hits in 17 games… tied the program record with three stolen bases in a game vs. EMU and reached base in 16 straight games... Earned Second Team Big South All-Conference honors.

2024: Competed and started in one game with the Blue Hose before an unfortunate season ending injury... on Feb. 16 against St. Peter's he stepped up to the plate twice where he took one hit for a triple and a pair of RBIs and ended up scoring himself...

2023: Saw action in 53 games with starts coming in 48 of those contests including 47 starts at third base… totaled 36 hits with six doubles, one triple and three homers along with 19 RBIs… scored 23 runs… drew 23 free passes… tallied seven multi-hit games including four coming in Big South play… recorded four doubles, two homers and a triple in conference action… tallied homers against UNC Asheville (April 2), ETSU (April 19) and Gardner-Webb (April 22)… recorded a career-high four RBIs against Western Michigan (March 7)… went 5-for-7 on the bases in conference play…

Before PC: Was an All-County First Team along with Coastal Alabama Terrific 20 while at Spanish Fort High School… he graduated Summa Cum Laude Honors…   

Personal: Trey Fenderson III was born in Birmingham, Ala.… he chose to come to PC because he wanted to pursue the DI baseball dream and the great academics… he intends to major in accounting…
