Biography

2024: Completed an inspirational story after back-to-back daunting injuries cost her the majority of the two earlier seasons, playing in all but one game for a record-setting squad and putting up six points (two goals, two assists)...On the same evening where she was recognized on Senior Night, she scored a 56th-minute goal versus Southern Wesleyan (8/29)...Hit the back of the net once more in a tie against Georgia State at Martin Stadium (9/8)...Became the seventh player in program history since the turn to Division I 17 years ago to post two assists in a single match, aiding a 3-1 victory over Gardner-Webb at home...Seven of her 11 shots landed on-target (64 percent), appearing in all seven regular season Big South duels...Played a season-long 56 minutes throughout perhaps PC's greatest-ever win, a conference quarterfinals triumph at fourth-seed Longwood (11/2) that stretched into double overtime and later a penalty kick shootout...Named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District team after securing a 3.91 GPA in Business Administration (concentration in Data Analytics, Management, and Marketing).

2023: Appeared in seven meetings while battling through injuries, starting twice on 170 minutes...Mustered three shots on the year, including a near-miss against Charleston Southern (10/18) that landed as an SOG...Competed against four Big South foes after returning to the fold with a month remaining on the campaign.

2022: Did not see any game action on the season due to injury.

2021: Played 15 games, making 13 starts for 798 minutes... Had two shots with one on goal in first career game vs. Furman (8/20)... Was on the field for a season-high 72 minutes in the 1-0 win over Alabama State (8/22)... Scored first career goal at Georgia (9/9)... Had a SOG% of .545.

Personal: Sarah Dieffenderfer is the daughter of Paul and Cheryl Dieffenderfer…Undecided on major…Chose PC because Presbyterian strives for the success of their students in the classroom, in their future careers and on the soccer field. The professors invest in student success and the school works to find opportunities for internship and mentorship programs. In athletics, I am excited to play with teammates that have a passion for the game. I also cannot wait to be surrounded by great players and coaches, as I know they will push me to be the best version of myself!
