Presbyterian College

Before PC: Transferred to Presbyterian from UNCG. At UNCG, he played a role in helping UNCG earn a share of the 2024 Southern Conference regular season championship. On October 15, 2024, he was named SoCon Defense Player of the Week after logging a three saves shutout in his UNCG debut against Furman on October 12. He posted his second shutout of the season with saves at VMI on October 26. In 2024, he played and started five matches while tallying 13 saves while facing 50 shots. Baerwalde transferred to UNCG from Converse, where he started 19 games while posting a 9-4-4 record in goal with 45 saves for a .726 save percentage in 2023. While at Converse, he was named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team. He began his collegiate career at USC Sumter where he was a team captain and the team’s MVP. Before his college career, he competed for Rot Weiß Erfurt, JFL Fußballinternat, and FC an der Fahner Höhe. He was a team captain with JFL Fußballinternat.
