BRISTOL, Conn. - Presbyterian's Amanda Rossie has been named to the 2006 ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District III College Division Women's Soccer Team it was announced on Thursday by Presbyterian officials.
Rossie was chosen to the second team.
A senior this past season, Rossie concluded her final season with the Lady Blue Hose with two goals and one assist in 2006.
In the classroom, Rossie currently owns a 3.83 grade point average as an English major.
The Lilburn, Ga. native was a team captain for the Lady Blue Hose in the 2005 season and has been a member of the SAC Honor Roll for all three of her previous years at PC. The midfielder is also currently the the Editor-in-Chief of the school's student newspaper, The Blue Stocking.
