DAVIDSON, N.C. ? Presbyterian College ended its inaugural NCAA Division I campaign with a 19-5 loss to Davidson College on Tuesday afternoon.

PC was led in the loss by Jenna Handshoe (Greenville, S.C.), who had two goals for PC on Tuesday.

Handshoe concluded PC's final two games of the year with five goals as she had a hat trick in the Longwood game.

Brittni Dulaney (Rome, Ga.) and Shannon Strodel (Duluth, Ga.) each had one goal in the Davidson game. Dulaney had a team-best three groundballs on Tuesday.

Overall, PC had 11 groundballs, while Davidson scooped up 15. The Blue Hose were 11-for-13 on their clears in the game. Davidson was a perfect 9-for-9.

Erin McBurnette (Roswell, Ga.) played all 60 minutes in the cage for PC, saving 19 Davidson shots.

Sarah Walter led the Wildcats in the game, earning game-high honors with four goals.

Down 5-0, PC netted its first goal of the game when Newberry scored with 15:02 left in the first half. Handshoe added another for PC just under two minutes later, but PC would not score any more in the half with Davidson taking an 11-2 lead into halftime.

Overall, the Blue Hose would not score again until the 12:48 mark of the second half when Handshoe netted her second goal of the game. It was the first of PC's final three goals in the contest.

PC showed their resolve in the final minutes against Davidson by scoring three of the final four goals of the game, including Handshoe's goal at the 12:48 mark.

Strodel scored the final goal of the contest with 4:19 left in the game.
