NEW BRITAIN, Conn. - After a turnover with 14 seconds to play, rookie

Handshoe converted a pass from Hartford for the goal.
Stenoien hooked up with Newberry, who promptly rocketed a shot past the keeper
at the 9:22 mark to make the score 6-2. CCSU then scored two of the next three
goals, with the third Blue Hose tally coming from the stick of Dulaney off a
pass from Davis.
Dulaney then scored with 1:08 left in the half, sparking a 3-0 run by the
visitors. Handshoe was credited with the assist on her score. Then, Dulaney
found Handshoe for her 10th goal of the year as 36 ticks remained on
the scoreboard before intermission.
Down by just three at the break, 8-5, Newberry blasted a goal from Stenoien
2:25 into the second period.
Mackenzy Ryan's free-position shot sparked a 4-1 run by the home team, with PC's
score in the run coming via Aiken from Handshoe.

goals, the last of which came from Prisco with 1:46 to play. During the run,
Prisco scored all three of her goals on the day while Handshoe, Hartford and

then won the ensuing draw control, giving CCSU the possession. The home team
was able to maintain possession until Ali Roche's turnover with 14 seconds to
play. PC was unable to tie the contest during the duration of the contest,
giving CCSU the win.
The Blue Hose will look to get into the win column tomorrow at 7 p.m., when
they travel to La Salle.
