CLINTON, S.C. – The Presbyterian College women's soccer lost 4-0 to California State Bakersfield Friday evening.
How it Happened
The Roadrunners opened the scoring in the first minute of the game on a goal from Aminah Settles. CSUB added another goal in the 38th minute to finish the scoring for the first half. The Roadrunners added two more goals later in the game, including a goal on a penalty kick in the 89th minute.
Woman of the Match
Kristen Peagler pushed the ball down the field all night and recorded a pair of shots with a shot on goal.
Stat of the Game
Cadye Picklesimer racked up 11 saves in the game. It was the first time a PC goalkeeper recorded as many saves since Sydney Fontenot recorded 11 against Furman in 2013.
Record
PC falls to 1-1-0 while CSUB improves to 2-2-1.
