Up Next
Presbyterian hosts William Peace on November 13 at the Templeton Center for their home opener. It will be the first meeting between the Blue Hose and the Pacers who are members of the USA South Athletic Conference (NCAA DIII).

Starting Strong
Sophomore Bria Gibbs scored 14 points in the season opener against SC State and was a perfect 6-of-6 from the field. Last season, the forward averaged 5.3 ppg but was one of only two players to post a double-double as Gibbs recorded 23 pts and 13 rbs in a home win against SC State (11/20/18).

Keep An Eye On
Trinity Johnson led the team with 15.7 points, 3.1 assists and 31.6 minutes per game over the final 10 games of last season. Over that span, she also had 4.3 rebounds per game and sank 75-99 free throws (.750).

Big South Honors
Kacie Hall was named to the Big South Preseason All-Conference Second Team. The senior guard averaged 12.7 points, 2.7 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.5 steals per game last year while leading the Big South with a .415 three-point field goal percentage.

New Faces
Head Coach Alaura Sharp added seven new players to the roster by the way of two transfers and five freshmen. Jade Compton (Hill College) is a junior, while Alessia Capley (Otero JC) is a sophomore. Shariah Gaddy, Kaitlyn Keathley, Le'Mesha Madden, Georgia Stockton and Tionna Carter are true freshmen. Redshirt sophomore Briley Buckner has also returned from an injury that kept her from playing last season.

Milestones Ahead
Kacie Hall has 157 career three pointers and needs 38 more to catch 4th place, Janie Miles (2014-18). The senior guard also needs 111 points to reach 1000.

Horseshoes and Hand Grenades
Presbyterian College led the Big South in games lost by single digits last season with 13, including 10 conference games.

Nationally Ranked
Presbyterian College ranked 54th in the nation last season and led the Big South with a 3pt FG percentage of .349 (202-578) thanks in part to Kacie Hall (.415) and Shamani Stafford (.362).

Who Do You Guard?
Presbyterian had three different players sink +5 three pointers in a single game last season: Shamani Stafford (4), Kacie Hall (3) and Tess Santos (1).

Cleaning the Glass
Last year's team averaged 35.0 rebounds per game with and improved their rebounding margin by 8.1 rebounds per game (-2.1).

Double-Doubles
After recording zero double-doubles in 2017-18, the Blue Hose posted 10 double-doubles last season. Regretably, only one returner contributed to that total with Bria Gibbs posting a season-high 23 points and 13 rebounds against SC State (Nov. 20).

Double Digit Streak
Kacie Hall scored +10 points in a program-record 17 consecutive games from November 25 - February 5 last season. During that span, the guard averaged 17.5 points, 3.1 rebounds, 3.1 assists in 36.6 minutes to go along with a 39.4% FG and 43.3% 3pt FG.

The Big 3-0
Kacie Hall scored a career-high 30 points in the team's 71-65 road win at the College of Charleston last season (12/21) to tie the program's Division I single-game record.
