Elon, N.C. – Senior Katie Thompson and junior Samantha Calais led the Blue Hose in their first fall event of the season for the Presbyterian College women's tennis team at the Elon Fall Invitational.

Notables
- The event featured Gardner Webb, Radford, NCCU, Emory, USC Upstate, Mercer, UNCG, ETSU and host Elon.
- Thompson picked up a flight win in the Powell flight as she earned wins over Big South foes USC Upstate, Radford and Gardner-Webb before earning the flight title against Emory.
- Calais went 3-1 in the event as she earned wins against Radford and Mercer before dropping a match to Emory. She bounced back earning 3rd place in the flight with a victory over Gardner-Webb.
- Zeba Jamal picked up three wins in her flight as she was able to earn victories over Elon, NC Central and Emory.
- Junior Ella Rowley earned a pair of victories in the Phoenix flight, while sophomore Beth Lacey added a pair of wins in the gold flight. Senior Beth Taylor picked up a win in the Maroon flight.
- In doubles action, the pairs of Calais and Jamal as well as Rowley and Ray earned a pair of wins in doubles action, while the duo of sophomore Jessica Leeman and Taylor picked up a victory over Mercer.
