Presbyterian College announced Wednesday that its men's and women's basketball home games will not have fans through at least Jan. 31, 2021, due to COVID-19. A decision regarding home games in February and beyond will be made at a later date.
The difficult decision was made to continue this policy given the current conditions relative to the ongoing pandemic. After evaluating several scenarios, and with cases continuing to rise, PC reached the conclusion that it would be unable to accommodate any fans in Templeton Center until at least Jan. 31.
This will include the home women's series against UNC Asheville Jan. 4-5, Campbell Jan. 15-16, and High Point, Jan. 22-23. Men's games that are affected are home contests against USC Upstate Jan. 9-10, Winthrop Jan. 19-20, and Longwood Jan. 29-30.
