Notables
Friday is the first game in the inaugural season for Akron. The Zips round out their trip to the South with a game at Gardner-Webb on Sunday.

Sarah Marshall leads the PC with seven goals and seven points on the season to reach 55 goals and 71 points in her career. The junior needs two more goals and 10 more points to enter the program's top-10 rankings for those respective categories.

Sarah Marshall is currently on a 12-game goal streak and 17-game point streak. Madison Berg has also started the season strong, extending her goal streak to five games.

Sarah Marshall tied a school record against Howard with three free position goals on four attempts. It was the fifth time in program history a Blue Hose player recorded three FPG. Kelly Hyman was the last player to achieve the feat (vs Gardner-Webb, 4/18/18).

Kara DiClemente is enjoying a breakout season. Through the first two games of the season, the junior midfielder has already set collegiate bests in goals (5) and points (7), while tying her collegiate best in assists (2).

Abby Edmisten was named the Big South Freshman of the Week (2/11/20) after shining on both ends of the field in the first two games of the season. The freshman currently leads the team in draw controls (9), caused turnovers (4) and is tied for second on the team with five points (4G, 1A) and with five ground balls.

Presbyterian is looking to start the year at 2-1 for the first time since 2014 when they opened 2-0 with wins over Newberry (16-8) and Delaware State (22-16) before falling to Saint Francis (14-17).

Abby Edmisten and Kara DiClemente each scored man-down goals in the season opener against Howard. It was only the second time in program history that the Blue Hose scored twice while being man-down (vs Howard, 4/22/12).

Eric Clakeley became the sixth head coach in program history during the summer of 2019. He spent the previous two seasons at Lafayette College as the defensive coordinator. In his time with the Leopards, the team ranked highly within the Patriot League in save percentage and saves per game.
