Acrobatics & Tumbling to Visit #8 Converse on Saturday

CLINTON, S.C. – The Presbyterian College acrobatics & tumbling team hits the road for the first time in program history on Saturday night as it travels to Spartanburg to face eighth-ranked Converse.

THE OPPONENT
- The Valkyries entered their third season of competition ranked eighth in the NCATA Preseason Poll, having reached the NCATA National Championships for the second straight time in 2019.
- Converse began the season with a comfortable win over Erskine back on Feb. 8. Like PC, the Flying Fleet is in its first year competing in NCATA.
 
NOTABLES
- Presbyterian is competing on the road for the first time, having dropped the inaugural meet in program history to #3 Quinnipiac 268.300-252.045 last Sunday at the Templeton Center.
- The Blue Hose are in the midst of a stretch that sees them face three teams ranked in the top-10 in NCATA's Preseason Poll. In addition to third-ranked Quinnipiac and the eighth-ranked Valkyries, PC is set to face #1 Baylor as part of a tri-meet on Monday, March 9.
