CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Presbyterian College men's wrestling team competed in The Citadel Open on Saturday, ending with some very good results.
NOTES:
- Jacob Brasseur and Dominic Chavez competed at 133lbs with Brasseur winning two of his matches and Chavez finishing in 5th place with a 4-1 record.
- Freshman Logan Spell competed at 149lbs and went 3-2 on way to a 6th place finish in his first collegiate competition.
- Reid Stewart, also at 149lbs, came in 3rd place in his bracket, making the semifinals before falling to #10 Josh Finesilver of Duke. He went 3-1 on the day.
- Also making his first collegiate appearance was David Bertrand who went 3-2 on route to a 6th place finish.
- Presbyterian as a team finished the day with 21 individual wins and a program-best four place winners.
