Lacrosse Heads to Radford for Final Road Game of 2021

Clinton, S.C. – The Presbyterian College lacrosse team travels to Radford on Wednesday for the final road game of the 2021 season. Opening draw is scheduled for 5 pm at Vert Stadium.

Scouting the opponent | Series History
Radford gave up 15 first half goals to High Point (6-6, 4-0 Big South) on Saturday before falling 19-4. The Highlanders started the season 0-9 before winning four consecutive games against William and Mary (11-10, OT), Gardner-Webb (14-9), Winthrop (10-9) and Longwood (9-7). Wednesday's match is their final home game of the regular season.

Lindsey Carroll leads the team with 43 points (24g, 19a) while Ava Goeller leads with 26 goals. Katie Bendrick has a team leading 75 draw controls and 32 caused turnovers.

Presbyterian is 1-3 in the series against Radford. The Highlanders have won the last three contests, including a 25-3 win on April 3, 2019.

Last Time Out
Abby Edmisten scored six goals as the team fell to Campbell, 23-8, on Saturday afternoon in Clinton. Campbell's Julianna Sanchez collected a game-high 15 draw controls to go with four goals and one assist. The Camels only led by one goal, 5-4, with a little over 12 minutes remaining in the first half. However, the visitors blew the game open with a 16-2 run that stretched into the second half.
