Lacrosse Ready for Sunday Matchup at Lander

**UPDATE** This game has been postponed until Sunday at noon due to inclement weather in the area on Saturday.

Clinton, S.C. –
 The Presbyterian College lacrosse team travels to nearby Lander for a 5 pm matchup on Saturday. The game, originally scheduled as a home game on March 10, will be the first meeting between the programs.

Scouting the opponent | Series History
After starting the year 2-0, Lander has dropped four of the last five games, including a 20-8 loss to Lee University on April 3. The Bearcats are 0-2 in the Gulf South Conference (DII), with their last win being an 11-5 road victory over Catawba on March 17.

Lander head coach Bob Dachille was the head coach at Presbyterian College for four seasons (2014-18). He became the first coach in Lander's history in July of 2018.

Emmy Peterson (20g, 12a) leads the Lander offense with 32 points, while Melissa Clapsaddle leads with 33 draw controls.

This will be the first matchup between Presbyterian and Lander in program history.

Last Time Out
Sarah Marshall's goal with 45 seconds remaining capped a 5-0 run by PC and tied the game at 11, but Gardner-Webb escaped with a 12-11 win on April 7. GWU's Talen Francis (4g) netted the game winner as time expired. Marshall was the game's leading scorer with six points (3g, 3a), while Abby Edmisten added five points (3g, 2a).
