CARY, N.C.  – The Presbyterian College Blue Hose men's tennis team enjoyed a successful tournament run at the ITA Carolina Regionals at the Cary Tennis Park. Dusan Milanovic reached the singles final and the doubles tandem of Milanovic and Max Benson made the semifinals of the doubles draw.
 
SINGLES
Milanovic tallied five singles wins to reach the ITA Carolina Region Championship match with wins over players from Charlotte, North Carolina A&T, NC State, North Carolina, and Duke. He lost to South Carolina's Casey Hoole in the finals. Milanovic became the first Blue Hose men's tennis player to reach the championship match of the ITA Carolina Regionals. As a result of reaching the championship match, Milanovic qualified for the singles draw at the ITA Fall National Championships in San Diego, California, November 2-6.
 
Benson recorded a singles win in the main draw. Sebastian Dominguez, Teo Cariov, and Javier Matos all collected wins in the consolation draw.
 
DOUBLES
The doubles team of Benson and Milanovic posted four wins to reach the semifinals. They defeated doubles teams from Charlotte, Gardner-Webb, Duke, and South Carolina to reach the semifinals. They fell in a hard-fought three sets match to a doubles team from Wake Forest in the semifinals. Benson and Milanovic are the first doubles team to reach the semifinals of the ITA Carolina Regionals in the program's history. Benson and Milanovic are eligible for an at-large selection to the doubles draw at the ITA Fall National Championships after advancing to the semifinals. They will find out if they have been selected for the doubles draw at the ITA Fall National Championships on Wednesday, October 26.
 
David Mamalat, Pedro Cardoso, Daniel Martens, Cariov, Dominguez, and Matos also competed in the doubles draw.
