On and Off the Court with Jack McMahon

During the offseason, the Presbyterian College men's basketball program will post Getting to Know interviews. This week's interview features senior forward Jack McMahon.
 
This summer, he was recognized by the NABC for his performance in the classroom by being named to the NABC Honors Court. Last season, he connected on his first career three-point field goal in Presbyterian's win over Carver on December 15.

If you could play another sport in college what would it be: Baseball
The toughest thing about being a student-athlete: Time management. Making sure you are on top of your classwork and still performing on the court.
Does your Jersey Number have any meaning: Larry Bird wore the number 33 so that is why I wear that number.
Why did you choose to come to PC: Opportunity for a great academic experience. Coach Ferrell was phenomenal to me during my visit.
One word to describe your style of play: Fundamental
What are the team's goals for the season?: Improve every day. Win the Big South Championship and go to the NCAA Tournament.
What part of your game have you been working on over the offseason?: Working on my shooting. Getting into the best shape that I possibly can.
Pregame Rituals: I say a prayer. I listen to the song ABC by the Jackson Five.
Hidden Talent: I do a great rendition of Party in the U.S.A. in karaoke.  
What is your major?: Political Science. I want to be a college basketball coach. I also plan on applying to law schools.
