SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The 12th-ranked Presbyterian College Blue Hose (1-1) Acrobatics and Tumbling team scored season-highs in Compulsory, Acro, and Pyramid Events but the Blue Hose came up short with a 261.310 to 249.975 setback to the seventh-ranked Converse Valkyries (5-0) on the road on Saturday afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED
* The Blue Hose began the meet with a season-high 36.40 in the Compulsory Event, with the best scores of 9.65 in the Pyramid and 9.45 in the Toss Heats.
* Presbyterian recorded another season-high with a score of 27.20 in the Acro Event, which included a high score of 9.35 in the 7-Element Heat.
* In the Pyramid Event, the Blue Hose finished with a season-high score of 28.85, with a high score of 9.70 in the Open Heat.
* In the Toss Event, Presbyterian garnered a score of 25.10 with a high score of 8.70 Open Heat.
* In the Tumbling Event, Presbyterian collected a score of 48.625 led by
Morgan Todd's 9.275 in the Aerial Pass.
* Presbyterian closed out the meet with an 84.00 in the Team Event.
