Lacrosse Wraps up Home Stand Versus Butler

CLINTON, S.C.-  The Presbyterian College women's lacrosse team will conclude their three-game home run on Wednesday, March 9 as they will take on Butler at 3pm at Bailey Memorial Stadium.

Matchup: Presbyterian (1-3) vs. Butler (2-2)

Date: Wednesday, March 9
Time: 3:00 p.m.
Site: Bailey Memorial Stadium | Clinton, S.C.

Scouting the Bulldogs:

Butler is 2-2 on the season coming off a demanding 18-5 win over Detroit Mercy. The Bulldogs opened their season with a win over Kent State, before dropping two straight to Central Michigan and Louisville.

The Bulldogs are led by juniors scores in Campbell Connors (10G, 2A) and Kaley Attaway (8G, 3A). Butler also has some depth as Lindsey Schreiber and Leah Rubino have contributed five goals apiece. Aleigh Monroe has started all four games in net, collecting 25 saves to go with her 2-2 record. One downside to the Bulldogs' game is their free-position chances, only converting at a 21.4% (3-14).

Notables:
- Despite not scoring in the previous outing against Stetson, Abby Edmisten still leads the team in goals with 14. That is also good enough for third-best in the Big South.

- Presbyterian has converted on 39.5% (15-38) of their free-position attempts. The 15 FPG also account for 43% of the team's offense this season.

- The Blue Hose have done well to transition from defense to offense with a clear percentage of 83.3% (50-60) this season.
