Lacrosse Returns Home for Wednesday Tilt with Winthrop

CLINTON, S.C. - The Presbyterian College women's lacrosse team returns home for a Big South matchup against Winthrop on Wednesday night at Bailey Memorial Stadium. The matchup with the Eagles will begin at 7 p.m. on ESPN+.

  • Abby Edmisten paces the Blue Hose with 27 goals. She is seventh in the league with 2.45 goals/game, and is fifth in the nation in free-position goals/game at 1.27
  • Sophomore Kendall Goldfarb is tied for second in the Big South with 17 caused turnovers. She's also fifth in the league with 1.42 caused turnovers/game.
  • Goalie Heidi Shafer is second in the conference with 99 saves as she's made all 12 starts during the 2022 season. Shafer needs just three saves on Wednesday to become the fourth Blue Hose player to record 300+ saves in their career.

  • Alyssa Angelo leads a balanced offensive attack for the Eagles with 21 goals as Lauren Asher has tallied 20 goals this season. Molly Dankowski has added 16 and Ellie Dutton has totaled 13 goals.
  • Asher leads Winthrop with 25 ground balls.
  • Kimora Bailey has a team-high 32 draw controls with Krystal Beebe totaling 21.
  • Kelsey Johnson has made all 12 starts this season for Winthrop in goal totaling 93 saves which ranks sixth in the league.
