Lacrosse Travels to Campbell for Wednesday Night Contest

CLINTON, S.C. - The Presbyterian College women's lacrosse team is set to travel to Campbell on Wednesday for a 5 p.m. start at Barker-Lane Stadium in Buies Creek. The game will be shown on ESPN+.

  • The Blue Hose offense is led by junior Abby Edmisten who has tallied a team-high 33 goals behind the power of eight multi-goal contests. She's also connected on a team leading 17 free-position goals.
  • Edmisten ranks sixth in the league with her 33 goals.
  • Senior Heidi Shafer is fourth in the league with 118 saves as she's made every start for the Blue Hose in goal this season. She sits fifth in the league with 8.43 saves/game.
  • Sophomore Kendall Goldfarb is fifth in the Big South with a team-high 19 caused turnovers.
  • Freshman Willow Hammond recorded her fourth multi-goal game of the season at Gardner-Webb on Saturday to rank second on the team with 16 goals.

  • Campbell recorded a 23-8 victory in the last head-to-head meeting with Presbyterian that occurred last April in Clinton.

  • Campbell enters Wednesday's contest with a 9-4 mark including a perfect 6-0 record in league play following a 14-12 victory on Saturday at Wofford.
  • Sam Bischoff leads the offense for Campbell with 42 goals which puts her third in the league in goals scored. Bischoff is third in the conference with 95 shots on the year.
  • Ally Heath is seventh in the Big South with 32 goals scored. Megan Matthews has added 25 goals with Joslin Hanbury recording 23 goals.
  • Matthews leads the Big South with 25 helpers as well.
  • Rebekah Taylor leads the Fighting Camels in caused turnovers with 22 as Chandler Stewart has 15.
  • Emma Strickland has made all 13 starts for Campbell in goal with 105 saves on the year
