During the offseason, the Presbyterian College men's basketball program will post Getting to Know interviews. This week's interview features senior forward
Owen McCormack.
Last season, McCormack was named the Big South Men's Basketball Scholar-Athlete of the Year. This past February, McCormack earned CoSIDA First Team Academic All-District honors. This summer, McCormack was selected to the NABC Honors Court. In the 2021-22 season, McCormack recorded five double-figure scoring games which included a season-high 13 points in Presbyterian's win over The Citadel.

One word to describe style of play: Smart
What are the team's goals for the season?: Start off on the right foot and continue that throughout the season. Win the Big South Conference Championship.
Hidden Talent: I can ride a unicycle. I was on a unicycle team in elementary school.
What is your major and why did you pick it? Double major in Economics and Data Analytics. I want to work in the Data Analytics field. This summer, I did an internship working in Data Analytics with the World Finance Corporation in Greenville.
