GREENWOOD, S.C.  – The 14th-ranked Presbyterian College Blue Hose (0-3) Acrobatics and Tumbling team won the toss and team events but the Blue Hose came up short with a 255.195-247.700 setback at the Lander Bearcats (3-0) on Thursday evening.   

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Blue Hose began the meet with a score of 32.85 in the Compulsory Event with a high score of 9.05 in the Pyramid Heat.
• Presbyterian scored 24.60 in the Acro Event which included a high score of 9.20 in the 7-Element Heat.
• In the Pyramid Event, the Blue Hose scored 27.75 with season-high scores of 9.75 in the Synchronized and 9.80 in the Open Heats.
• In the Toss Event, PC scored 24.95 with a season-best score of 8.75 in the Open Heat.
• In the Tumbling Event, the Blue Hose scored a season-high 49.00 led by Abby Katz's 9.00 in the Open Pass.
• Presbyterian outscored Lander in the Team Event, 88.55 to 86.92. PC's 88.55 was a season-high score.  

 
NOTABLES

• The Synchronized Pyramid team of Ashlyn Getway, Maya Cunningham, Ciera Carter, Kat Iacobelli, Amirah Boyd, Morgan Todd, Shayla Snow, Robyn Beeman, Dilara Michlena, Maya Reyes, and Makenna Watt scored a season-high 9.75.
• The Open Pyramid team of Todd, Snow, Boyd, Beeman, Reyes, and Getway recorded a season-high score of 9.80.
• Tumbling Event - In the 6-Element Pass, Carter improved her score for the third straight meet with an 8.175 in the event. Reyes, Beeman, and Carter tallied a season-high score of 8.35 in the Trio Pass.
