No. 14 Presbyterian Opens Season Against No. 6 Limestone in Templeton

CLINTON, S.C. – The No. 14 Presbyterian College Blue Hose Acrobatics and Tumbling team plays the No. 6 Limestone Saints in their season-opening meet at the Templeton Center on Friday, February 10 at 7 p.m.

PRESBYTERIAN NOTABLES
  • Presbyterian is ranked No. 14 in the National Collegiate Acrobatics & Tumbling Association (NCATA) Coaches' Poll.
  • The Blue Hose under the guidance of first-year head coach Kara Christian returned 18 letterwinners off a 2022 team that was nationally ranked and earned an at-large selection to the Synchronized Pyramid Event Finals. Joining the 18 returning letterwinners are four talented newcomers on Presbyterian's 2023 roster.
  • Challenging Schedule – Limestone is one of five nationally-ranked teams the Blue Hose will play this season. Presbyterian has home meets against No. 6 Limestone (February 10), No. 7 Fairmont State (March 8), and No. 4 Quinnipiac (March 18). Presbyterian has road meets at No. 1 Baylor (February 19) and No. 2 Gannon (April 7).

  • Limestone is ranked No. 6 in the National Collegiate Acrobatics & Tumbling Association (NCATA) Coaches' Poll.
  • The Saints defeated No. 2 Gannon at home in their season-opening meet (270.260-265.045) last Saturday.

ACROBATICS AND TUMBLING MEET
A meet consists of six events: Compulsory, Acro, Pyramid, Toss, Tumbling, and Team Event. Teams compete in a predetermined rotation order throughout each event. Events are immediately scored by officials.
