PC Posts Season-High Scores in Pyramid and Toss Events

ERIE, Pa.  – The Presbyterian College Blue Hose (0-7) Acrobatics & Tumbling team posted season-high scores in the Pyramid and Toss Events as they came up short against the No. 5 Gannon Golden Knights (6-2), 262.580-246.260 on the road in their final regular season meet.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Presbyterian began the meet with a score of 36.45 in the Compulsory Event paced by program-high-tying scores of 9.75 in the Pyramid and Toss Heats and a program-best score of 9.55 in the Acro Heat.
  • In the Acro Event, the Blue Hose collected a score of 27.80 with 9.65 in the 5 Element and the 7 Element Heats.
  • In the Pyramid Event, PC posted a season-high score of 28.35 with a 9.80 in the Synchronized Heat.
  • In the Toss Event, Presbyterian tallied a season-best score of 26.25.
  • In the Tumbling Event, Presbyterian scored 46.95
  • In the Team Event, the Blue Hose collected a score of 80.46. 

NOTABLES
  • In the Acro Heat in the Compulsory Event, PC's team of Morgan Todd, Ciera Carter, Robyn Beeman, Amirah Boyd, Ashlyn Getway, Anna Ruiz, Caroline Holter, Maddie Watkins, and Jaden Haley set the program record with a score of 9.55. The previous high score was 9.50 against Trine on March 10, 2022.
  • In the Pyramid Heat in the Compulsory Event, the Blue Hose team of Watkins, Getway, Ruiz, Holter, Boyd, Carter, Madeline Johnson, Maya Cunningham, Kat Iacobelli, Robyn Beeman, Shayla Snow, Kylie Iwanaga, and Makenna Watt tied the program best mark of 9.75. The last time the Blue Hose posted that score was against Trine on March 10, 2022. 
  • In the Toss Heat in the Compulsory event, the Blue Hose team of Todd, Johnson, Holter, Cunningham, Iacobelli, Boyd, Carter, Beeman, Iwanaga, Watkins, and Watt tied the program best mark at 9.75 which was set against Converse on February 29, 2020.
  • In the 5 Element Heat in the Acro Event, the Blue Hose tied the program record with a 9.65 that was set against Converse on February 29, 2020. PC's participants in the 5-Element Heat were Getway, Holter, Watt, Watkins, and Haley.
  • In the 7 Element Heat in the Acro Event, PC's team of Carter, Boyd, Todd, Beeman, and Annie Blakely recorded a program-high-tying score of 9.65 which was set against Trine on March 10, 2022.
  • In the Pyramid Event in the Synchronized Heat, PC set the program record with a score of 9.80. PC's participants in the heat were Getway, Cunningham, Carter, Iacobelli, Boyd, Todd, Snow, Beeman, Watt, and Dilara Michlena.
